Children of the Hydra logo

This is the logo for my Khemri Blood Bowl team, the Children of the Hydra.

Long ago, there was a tournament hosted by Dark Elves. During halftime of one of the matches, the mascot of the Dark Elves, a hydra, got loose, ate the opposing team, as well as the coaching staff and several of the fans.

Years later, the great reanimator, Ray Harry Hausen (not to be confused with the great animator, Ray Harryhausen), learned of this story and tracked down the remains of the hydra. Using his magic, he raised the skeletons to play once again.

The logo is based on one of the sheilds seen in the skeleton fight scene from Jason and the Argonauts, where the "dead, slain of the hydra" rise up to fight.

Story-wise, it is thought that this logo was the team's original logo, before they died.
